Ayo 🌱❤️

You are a friend I’ve known since forever. It all started back in secondary school, when everyone used to call you Madara, as in Uchiha Madara. I always found that name quite peculiar. I watched you from afar, gentle, soft-spoken, and incredibly intelligent. Even then, you were a force to be reckoned with. With your silent perseverance, you and the rest of our group of geniuses would compete among yourselves over who could master the chemistry, physics, and biology textbooks.

I have always admired your strength. I have always admired your resilience. I’m really glad you were able to conquer every single obstacle that came your way, to live your life the way you wanted, and to come out so strong and admirable.

We graduated in 2016, and it has been exactly ten years since then. I’m glad that after a decade, you now have something so great to offer the world. I’ve had conversations with you many times at different points in your life and mine, and all I’ve ever seen is someone special, someone with a softness about them, someone with a gentle heart, someone who went through so much yet was strong enough to overcome every obstacle.

Now, seeing where you are and how far you’ve come, I’m overwhelmed with joy. You are proof of what someone can become if they never give up. I am so glad for you. I am so proud of you.

Go into the world and become everything you want to be. You are going to save so many lives. You are going to be admired by so many people. Be who you have always known yourself to be.

From the bottom of my heart, I consider you a very good friend of mine. Maybe not the kind of friend I speak to every day, but please know that you always have someone in your corner, someone who truly cares about you and the things that happen to you, even if I don’t always say it.

Go be the light and shine like you have always been meant to be.

Congratulations Dr. Adesina Ayomide 🎉

GOLD

I'm looking for gold. Barefoot and hungry I wandered through the forest. My hands brushed roughly against tree trunks and shrubs as I leaned against them for support. I was tired, it's been two days. But I'd made a promise, I wouldn't leave without my gold. I could feel goosebumps rising up my body as the cold air clung jealously to my skin. 'I've lost him,' I thought looking back. Good. No one was going to share in my gold. Gold was all I needed in this world. I heard shuffling in the bushes nearby. I gasped turning around, arms and legs battle ready. "Who's there?" I silently cursed myself for sounding so shaky. There was no response. I tensed up. 'My gold,' I thought, 'my precious gold.' As I took a step towards the overgrown bushes, my lungs in my throat, out of nowhere an arrow flew right past me, missing my head by a few inches. I gasped, eyes wide. I turned around and made a run for it....

Waves

I see water...different shades and depths of water. Eyes that exude calm and warmth, he is the sun to me. Bright and peaceful. He is the sky. He is a paradox, flame and water. You could feel the calm and the heat. I can't describe it, My words are failing me and my pen can't write this. I speak of his truth, I look at those eyes and I feel myself sink into that river of his,  That endless ocean that rest dormant like a volcano, And I wait, I wait for the day I'd see the wrath of his eyes. Damn him, damn what those eyes do to me, And here I am, Falling and Drowning in those catastrophic blue eyes of his. Yet, dangerous and drowning. Eyes that hold me captive. I see everything he is and could be. He is a river flowing gently,  Those eyes called to me, I took the bait, I swam. Haven't met a man like him who does these things to me, make me do things I normally wouldn't do,   Can't explain it, can't describe it.  His gaze is melting, it s...

I know that I need you

I want you forever, I need you forever. Stay with me forever—Don't ever let me go. —Jonathan McReynold Gotta keep moving. I hate feeling like I'm not doing much, but you always reassure me that I'm doing something right. I hate feeling uncertain, and anxious. Take them away, I don't want them. God when I'm where you want me to be, let me not forget you, because you made me who I am. 'The stars are just our beginning'. My sister loves this quote and so do I. God I acknowledge you as my strength, please don't stop being my strength. Jesus, I need you too, don't ever let me go. Let me be at peace with who I am. As long as you say Yes, I don't care who says No. I love you Lord and I know you know that I do. Visit me Lord, I need to see you. I need to feel, see, hear, touch and be the miracle. ° ° ° ° ° Tell me what you think below, how easy do you find talking about your fears and uncertainties? Do you know Jesu...
